“Hello friends & neighbours, my commitment to you...
Is to continue to advance the vision of Coquitlam that will see us living in a vibrant, complete city, one in which residents can live safely, find work without commuting, play on our courts and fields & entertain family & friends in our parks and cultural centres.”
To make a difference in the lives of Coquitlam residents. We all want affordable housing, low taxes, safe streets and excellent recreation and transit services, but how do we get them? In speaking with residents, I think we can achieve this.

Coquitlam is the City we call home!
I have grown up and been a resident of Coquitlam and the Tri-Cities since 1979. In 2018, I was blessed to receive your support again and was re-elected to City Council, thank you! I bring a wealth of experience in finance, business, health care, minor sports, board governance and like most candidates I have been an active volunteer in the community. In my first term on Council, I worked with colleagues to help lead the city forward on a number of exciting initiatives, I ask for your support to be re-elected and continue the good work that we've started. To learn more about me visit my Bio, Platform and Community pages.
"Growing up in Coquitlam, I was like the majority of residents....
I knew that politics and politicians existed, but I didn't pay a lot of attention until voting day." The issue of complacency and disengagement has increased to a frightening level that saw only 1 out of 4 people vote in the 2018 civic election. In the past several years, I have certainly learned that not only can we exercise our votes, but that we can get engaged and make a difference.
Have your say...

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Dennis on a Charity board and continually found him to be hard working, diligent, and a healthy contributor bringing great ideas and insight to the conversation. |
I met Dennis about 8 years ago, around the same time I started my business in Coquitlam. Our business relationship started through getting to know each other at various charitable events (where he always encourages me to donate more) and community/business events, In the last four years with him on council, he has become my go-to for all things within the city. He is knowledgeable, personable and helpful. When he doesn’t know the answer, he finds it and gets back to me right away. I know he will continue to do his best for all the residents and businesses within the City of Coquitlam. |
